You may have seen some of my postings about The Hair and Makeup Artist Network. It has really been a great resource for me and I think that other Hair and Makeup artists would benefit from it as well. In addition to being able to network with fellow artists, there are great continuing education classes in artistry and business. I particularly like the financial planning classes. It's also given me the opportunity to get face time with Network Department Heads and agents from big agencies like Cloutier. And, as soon as they get enough members they will provide group health care. This Sunday there is a business class with an agent from Cloutier and a rep from Local 706. And next weekend there's a networking lunch for members. I've been trying to hit all the classes, so if anyone has any questions, let me know!
